Français : Portrait de Julie Candeille, commandée par celle-ci en 1828 à l'artiste, alors peu connue mais recommandée par Élisabeth Vigée-Lebrun. Dans ses Mémoires, Julie Candeille raconte sa satisfaction : « Le résultat est surprenant, à couper le souffle ! J’ai la tête gracieusement penchée, le regard très doux, la bouche spirituelle, le teint coloré à souhait. Le rendu de ma toilette est superbe : Aimée Pagès s’est surpassée dans les transparences. C’est parfait ! »
