Nederlands: Kerkraam ter nagedachtenis van w:Nicolaus Cruquius in Oude Kerk in Spaarndam
English: Stained glass window in Oude Kerk, Spaarndam created in memory of w:Nicolaas Kruik (2 Dec 1678 - 5 Feb 1754). It shows the heraldic shields of the sitting regents of the w:Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland at the time Cruquius died, along with the shield of w:William II of Holland, an ancestor of Cruquius. First made in the 18th century after his death, but later lost, it was restored to glory in 1912, only to be damaged again by a soccer ball in 2007. Newly restored state.
