Description William (Billy) McCandless of the Glasgow Rangers, ca. 1922, from a football card. Information on the back: "W. McCandless, Glasgow Rangers. Left Back—Ht., 5 ft. 7 ins.; Wt. 11 st. Born in Belfast, and after junior football played for Linfield, the Belfast senior team. Came to Glasgow Rangers in 1920. Holds Irish international honours against England and Wales, 1919–20, 1920–21, and against Scotland 1921–22." He was later a football manager, of Dundee F.C., Newport County A.F.C., Cardiff City F.C., Swansea City A.F.C.
