unknown / no value[edit]

Wouldn’t it make sense to permit unknown value Help and no value Help in the item of property constraint (P2305) parameter, with the same literal interpretation as in the “one of” constraint? @Ivan A. Krestinin: what do you think? (Same thing for “target required claim”, of course.) --Lucas Werkmeister (WMDE) (talk) 17:24, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Well that’s good to know, since we apparently never implemented that :) I’ve updated the documentation and will update the implementation as well.
(I checked the constraints file we imported, and apparently Slovene Cultural Heritage Register ID (P1587) is the only property with unknown value Help or no value Help in “item” or “target required claim”. For “one of”, there are five such properties.) --Lucas Werkmeister (WMDE) (talk) 17:50, 1 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Subclass?[edit]

Would it be possible for the "item of property constraint" to defined by subclass?

Use case: I want for items with Logicielsmoto ID (P5453) to have platform (P400) set to items which are subclass of MOTO Gamme (Q3095025).

(Although in this case, there are not that many of such computers in this brand so I could list them all if need be).

Would that be possible to model? :)

Hello I've the same question please... Olivier LPB (talk) 13:33, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Using {{Complex constraint}} only. — Ivan A. Krestinin (talk) 17:14, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Just came across this due to Debian stable package (P3442) requiring operating system (P306), whereas platform (P400) should be sufficient to provide the same information — example: Freedroid (Q14928423). --Waldyrious (talk) 18:48, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
