field of work (P101) mistake[edit]

I corrected the mistake already, but wanted to point out this edit. physician (Q39631) is not a field of work (P101), but an occupation (P106). medicine (Q11190) and chemistry (Q2329) are examples of field of work (P101). Hazmat2 (talk) 14:08, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Name change[edit]

Hello.

Astana International Airport has been renamed as en:Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport.

The name of this airport needs to be renamed in Polish Wikipedia as well using the first name and the surname of the former president.

Can you rename the Polish Wikipedia article please?

human (Q5)[edit]

Mam wątpliwości odnośnie opisu, który ustawiłeś w tej edycji. Taki Mieszko I (Q53435) według mnie do tego opisu zupełnie nie pasuje jako srednio współczesny. Sugerujesz dla postaci historycznych używanie inneg wartości dla instance of (P31)? Przyznam się, że w moim odczuciu obecny opis "członek społeczności ludzi współczesnych" dyskwalifikuje Q5 w tym przypadku. Ankry (talk) 06:07, 26 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment[edit]

Dear Masti,

I hope you are doing good,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender system that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our system based on your previous edits. Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.

The study will start in late January 2022 or early February 2022, and it should take no more than 30 minutes.

Tadeusz Bradecki[edit]

Hej :) usunęłam Katowice jako miejsce śmierci Bradeckiego, bo link źródłowy z e-teatru wstawiony na pl-wiki tego nie potwierdza. O jego śmierci zawiadomił wprawdzie Teatr Śląski, ale Bradecki zdaje się działał w ostatnich latach z Londynu (zerknij tutaj). Trzeba będzie poczekać aż zostanie opublikowana jednoznaczna informacja.
