Chat log[edit]

I was interested to read some of your comments in the chat log from IRC.

You might be interested in Wikidata talk:WikiProject Railways.

For listing stations along a railway line in order by distance from terminus, this appears to be what property located on linear feature (P795) has been defined to enable.

Unfortunately it seems to have been populated for only three items so far, but you can see an example at Amersham station (Q800384) of what's intended (you'll need to scroll down, it's quite far down the item).

Once the relevant items are populated with data, it would be very easy to write a SPARQL query for all the stations on a particular line, sorted by the value of the length (P2043) qualifier on the located on linear feature (P795) statement. Jheald (talk) 14:12, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mostly this is because at the time the data was added some of the propeties used were still a bit experiemental, there is also the issue of trying to confirm the mileage data across multiple data sources, as there isn't for the UK an official OGL licenses set of railway station locations as far as I know.ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 10:54, 23 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unused properties[edit]

This is a kind reminder that the following property was created more than six months ago: amended by (P2567). As of today, this property is used on less than five items. As the proposer of this property you probably want to change the unfortunate situation by adding a few statements to items. --Pasleim (talk) 19:28, 17 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
