Discussion
[edit]- Comment I have many doubts about the correct values for items: Why should we use "dogs" instead of "DogsPlus" for dog (Q144)? And The Walt Disney Company (Q7414) should use "disney", "DisneyAmino101", or "DisneyxAmino"? Another thing: I think the correct datatype should be "item". It would be useful for add statements about the communities, like number of subscribers (P3744). --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 22:31, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
- Comment @Tinker Bell:, who's to say that you can't place both "dogs" and "DogsPlus". This is no different than subreddit (P3984)--Trade (talk) 22:14, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- Mmm, I don't like how subreddit (P3984) is used, because I tend to think they aren't identifiers per se, but works that can have their own item, and can link their topic using main subject (P921). Anyway, Weak support. --Tinker Bell ★ ♥ 23:21, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose no motivation was provided in the proposal. Putting a statement on millions of items has a cost, and given that I haven't heard of Amino before I doubt that cost is worth it. ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 14:09, 14 January 2020 (UTC)
- @ChristianKl: It's one of the most used mobile social media networking apps currently available. Definitely notable.
- Do you have any data for that claim? ChristianKl ❪✉❫ 17:07, 4 February 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per ChristianKl and Tinker Bell, no clear motivation or benefit and unclear mapping. Also the app seems to be quite new (2014) and this would add a lot of bloat with little benefit. --Hannes Röst (talk) 02:48, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
