Discussion
[edit]- @Ferrocarriles de México: Please add some examples, where do you imagine it being used? On items of tracks? Of train classes? Both? —Tacsipacsi (talk) 15:28, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- I suggest creating it with item datatype, with values ETCS Level 0 (Q107120161), ETCS Level 1 (Q107120143), ETCS Level 2 (Q107120146) and ETCS Level 3 (Q65234311) – this could provide more information than a single number (these items could be expanded to describe which level of control/automation these levels include). It would also make it less likely that someone inputs a non-existent level accidentally, as one could simply not input “ETCS Level 1.5” or “ETCS Level 55”. —Tacsipacsi (talk) 15:28, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
- Sounds good! --Marsupium (talk) 09:01, 13 January 2024 (UTC)
- Comment Wouldn't it be possible to use railway signalling system (P3019)? I.e. some instance of railway line (Q728937)railway signalling system (P3019)ETCS Level 2 (Q107120146)? --Nw520 (talk) 02:48, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
- Comment mayby it is better to use railway signalling system (P3019) to indication of train protection system (Q228346). --Steenth (talk) 12:05, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
