Representstypes of radio emissions (Q1419451)
Data typeString
Allowed values/[1-9H][0-9HKMG]{3}|[A-DF-HJ-NP-RV-X][0-37-9X][A-FNWX]|[A-HJ-NWX]|[NCFTWX]/
Example 1radioteletype (Q1474408) → F1B
Example 2DVB-T (Q382607) → G7W
Example 3single-sideband modulation (Q560348) → J3E
Example 4continuous wave (Q1129003) → A1A
Example 5PACTOR (Q568281) → J2B

Planned useadd emission designation to instances of modulation (Q170474) and standardized radio modes
Expected completenesseventually complete (Q21873974)

Motivation

[edit]

Lots of standardized radio transmission modes and even basic modulation types (instances of modulation (Q170474)) lacking statements to an internationally agreed system for classifying radio frequency signals such as the ITU designation. Ptolusque (.-- .. -.- ..) 23:14, 17 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
