Since there is no suitable qualifier to indicate the event at which the product or creative work was announced, I thought it would be better to make a separate one. This qualifier is to announcement date (P6949) property. See some examples here above and full list below and let me know what you think.

- Comment Thanks Kirilloparma for the proposal. I have needed to model the location of announcement in the past too (I think I sometimes used location (P276) but that does not look good). I don’t know whehter we need a dedicated property, but so far I could never come up with another solution either with existing properties − so unless someone else can come up with an alternative modeling solution, I would Support this. - Oh, there is presented in (P5072) ? Not a great fit but could work I guess? Jean-Fred (talk) 11:58, 26 June 2021 (UTC)
- @Kirilloparma: What do you think of presented in (P5072) ? Jean-Fred (talk) 22:01, 5 July 2021 (UTC)

- @Jean-Frédéric: Unfortunately this property is not suitable for two reasons:
- It seems like that the property was created with completely different intentions and there is still confusion about the domain and target value (see discussion). As far as I understand, we are mainly talking about the events related to film industry (Q1415395) or something like that. The name of the property itself is vague, therefore it is impossible to understand what it actually means + terms announced and presented is not quite similar.
- From the proposal discussion it follows that the property is intended to be used as main value, so it's unlikely that it can be used as a qualifier, I guess. The property that I propose, on the contrary, is intended to be used only as a qualifier for the announcement date (P6949) property. Regards Kirilloparma (talk) 22:49, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the answer, you have convinced me :)
- (I think presented in (P5072) could be used on games, but that is orthogonal to the announcement − eg a game announced at E3 2012, and subsequently presented at E32013, TGS 2013 etc.) Jean-Fred (talk) 08:38, 6 July 2021 (UTC)
