Motivation
[edit]A very basic statistic we lack for baseball. This property could be used for tracking career ABs (as with examples 1 and 2) or ABs in a particular game (as with example 3). It could also potentially be used for tracking a player's ABs by season, though we'd have to decide on a consistent schema to use for that (i.e. do we attach the statement to the player or to the season?).
