On Friday evening, to start the WikidataCon with a friendly and relaxed spirit, we organize the Welcoming party! All the people who are registered for the WikidataCon are welcome to join.
- When: Friday, October 27th, from 19:00 to 02:00

- Who: the attendees of the WikidataCon (fully registered on Eventbrite)
Access to the party[edit]
The venue is located in a group of buildings, in the third backyard. The easiest access is from Saarbrücker Straße 24. Follow the Sign D and find the building on the right. Volunteers will welcome you from the street to the building.
Two underground stations are close to the venue:
U2: Senefelderplatz[edit]
- Exit at staircase Saarbrücker Straße
- Walk 200 m ahead
- turn left at the crossway into Saarbrücker Straße
- From 1:21 at night take Bus N2
U8: Weinmeisterstraße[edit]
- Exit at staircase Alte Schönhauser Str.
- Walk Alte Schönhauser Str. 800 m ahead, crossing Torstr.
- turn right at the crossway into Saarbrücker Straße
- last train departs at 00:59
Route from the conference area to party[edit]
To access the party venue from the conference area (Tagesspiegel venue, 3 Little Pigs hostel, Ibis and Motel One hotels...)
- From the station Anhalter Bahnhof, take the S1, S2 or S25 towards Oranienburg / Bernau / Hennigsdorf
- Change at Potsdamer Platz
- Take the U2 towards Pankow
- Exit at Senefelderplatz

You can also reach U2 by feet at the station Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park.

The underground U and trains S still run during the night. The waiting time may be longer.

The club[edit]
The Roadrunner's Paradise is a hard rock club, located in a nice historical monument. It is placed on the border of the localitys Mitte and Prenzlauerberg of Berlin, in the former district Königsstadt. The club is located in a former boiler house of the Königstadt brewery. The building is an historical monument built in the end of 19th century. It is accessible via the third backyard of the commercial courtyard.

Music[edit]
Music will be played from 19:00 to 2:00am by DJ Jan Canto. He will provide you the best taste of German music, from pop to heavy metal. During the party, feel free to talk to him and suggest some sounds you'd like to hear!
Food[edit]
Food is offered by Wikimedia Deutschland during the evening. We will provide a large variety of pizzas, that will be served at 19:30 and 21:00 in the party venue. Vegetarian and vegan pizzas will be included.

Drinks[edit]
Drink coupons will be offered to the attendees when they arrive at the party venue. You will receive 2 coupons that give you access to soft drinks, beer and wine. Drink ordering will be at the bar.
If you want to order more drinks, you will have to pay them by yourself.
Disclaimer: a good party doesn't have to be a super-drunk party. Please be careful and remember that you still have a full weekend to enjoy, starting on Saturday at 9:00 ;)
Accessibility[edit]
The access to the venue is accessible for people in wheelchair. The food tent, main room, bar are as well.
The toilets of the venue have a 80cm wide but are not specifically designed for wheelchairs so may be a bit difficult to access.
Unfortunately, the underground stations in Berlin are not always accessible. The safest route to travel in Berlin is the bus (always accessible).
