Do we have no showcases lexemes yets? The only one listed for English is noun (Q1084), which is an item, not a lexeme. The actual lexeme is rather poor. Ijon (talk) 12:52, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
- @Ijon: noun (Q1084) was supposed to be category of lexemes, assuming there will be few nouns, few verbs etc. I will remove because it is indeed confusing. There is currently one serious candidate to showcase Polska (L9751) actively considered. KaMan (talk) 12:58, 14 December 2018 (UTC)

Proposed for Showcase[edit]

- Either somehow prove it it is a copy or stop talking about this. You probably do not understand how languages with excesive regular inflexions works. - It seems we probably don't understand how attestation works in the same way. In a recent discussion, the ease of inclusion of attestations was seen as a key advantage of Wikidata lexemes over Wiktionary and others.
Anyways, I don't see how copy or non-copy identity with a single source is going to showcase any Wikidata advantages over print dictionaries or Wiktionary. If people are interested in another dictionary, they might as well follow the link there. --- Jura 13:53, 13 December 2018 (UTC)- I think I understand what attestation is but don't understand why independent dictionary can't be source of attestation. - вода (L189) - needs usage examples and attestation
- main (L813) - (French) has a large number of senses defined
- see (L185) - English simple irregular verb with good collection of senses
- віра (L708605) - Ukrainian noun, three senses, examples of each from Ukrainian Wikisource, and described in the major Ukrainian dictionary
Query of biggest Lexemes (possible candidate for showcase)
