Site shut down

It looks like Everipedia has now more or less been shut down - w:Everipedia lists it as "becoming a static archive" but the majority of pages now seem to go to 404s - eg all five of the property examples above. The ones that do resolve are a bit of a random bag - "Recession", "Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks", a couple of promotional pages for individuals. My guess is that they ditched anything which was purely a WP copy and only kept the local ones, though hard to figure out if that is actually the case.

Anyway, the upshot is that this property is now even less useful - maybe 25 of the links here actually resolve to a page. Andrew Gray (talk) 21:52, 17 June 2023 (UTC)

Update: Of our 94x statements, I checked the first 17 (titles A-C) and the last 13 (S-Y); 11/30 still exist, and 19/30 go to 404 pages. One of the 404s is an attempt to link to their new site instead (IQ Wiki). All five of the examples in the original property proposal now go to 404s.

Some of the ones deleted don't look like they came from WP at all, and a couple of the ones kept are very minimal, so I'm not sure what mechanism was used to decide which ones to keep. Andrew Gray (talk) 11:57, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
