Not working

The link is not working - it takes you to the main page of biathlonresults.com. The closest I got is https://biathlonresults.com/modules/sportapi/api/CISBios?IBUId=BTNOR11207198501 for a unformatted xml for Emil Hegle Svendsen. --Avilena (talk) 15:53, 26 April 2019 (UTC)

Based on my brief testing, the formatter URL https://biathlonresults.com/?IBUId=$1 seems to work more consistently than https://www.biathlonworld.com/athletes/id/$1/, which often causes a redirect error (in Chrome: "This page isn’t working - www.biathlonworld.com redirected you too many times"; in Firefox: "The page isn’t redirecting properly"):

• For Ole Einar Bjørndalen (Q189408), https://biathlonresults.com/?IBUId=BTNOR12701197401 works, but https://www.biathlonworld.com/athletes/id/BTNOR127011974011/ initially did not work, then worked, and now is not working again.
• For Seija Hyytiäinen (Q15478108), https://biathlonresults.com/?IBUId=BT-FIN-W-HYYSEI works, but https://www.biathlonworld.com/athletes/id/BT-FIN-W-HYYSEI/ has not generated a working link for me.

Also, the biathlonresults.com links retain the upper case formatting of the ID, while the biathlonworld.com links redirect to a lowercase version. Some biathlonworld.com IDs that are working now (though did not work for me about 20 minutes ago):

• https://www.biathlonworld.com/athletes/id/BTNOR21803198101/ redirects to https://www.biathlonworld.com/athletes/id/btnor21803198101/
• https://www.biathlonworld.com/athletes/id/BTFRA11409198801/ redirects to https://www.biathlonworld.com/athletes/martin-fourcade/id/btfra11409198801/ (note the difference here, where it also changes /athletes/id/ to /athletes/martin-fourcade/id/)
