Changing examples from project to funding scheme[edit]

I have taken the liberty to change the property examples from European Research Council Starting Grant (Q55083655) to European Research Council Starting Grant (Q59389224) and European Research Council Advanced Grant project (Q55089188) to The European Research Council Advanced Grant (Q59389116) . This is in relation to the issue raise by Pintoch during the property suggestion discussion, see Wikidata:Property proposal/funding scheme. — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 12:49, 3 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Extend domain to organitzations/institutions[edit]

@Bluerasberry, ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2, ChristianKl, Pintoch, Fnielsen: Hi, I see that subjects of this property must be "temporary entities", as a film, project, etc. However, a lot of institutions (as universities, for instance) receive "permanent public funding" as a part of its budget. IMO this is a best property to show this "funding source" than investor (P1951) or sponsor (P859). So, may we add to its property constraint (P2302) the organization (Q43229) class?. Thanks, Amadalvarez (talk) 06:39, 10 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Amadalvarez: Can you talk this relationship through more? If the university is the original source of the money, funder (P8324) would work, right? Blue Rasberry (talk) 14:08, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Bluerasberry: Well, the university is not the source is the receiver, and the source is the government budget. In any case, I think it fits pretty well. Thank you, I did not know this property. Amadalvarez (talk) 16:00, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Amadalvarez: Ping me if you want to talk this through further. I use these various properties too and I think they all could use more documentation and explanation. Blue Rasberry (talk) 23:52, 18 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

constraint[edit]

I've broadened the constraint from "research project" to "project" since other projects may have quantifiable funding. T.Shafee(evo&evo) (talk) 03:46, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Non-financial support[edit]

Is there an equivalent property for non-financial support schemes? While I'm specifically thinking about it in terms of Wikimedia Chapter lending programs I can see the equivalent structures existing in research etc. E.g. being granted access to certain facilities/computational resources through some support scheme.
