Passing to page ID[edit]

Hi @Andrew Gray, DrGavinR, Arbnos:! I would like to discuss the possibility to convert this property from page title to page ID, as I already evaluated in the property proposal: in the last two months many links have been broken due to page moves without leaving redirections. Here just three examples ([1], [2], [3]) but there are surely many more. Page IDs are the only possibility for having permanent links in my opinion, so I would suggest removing all existing page titles and re-start using this same property with page IDs. I wait for your opinions. Good night, --Epìdosis 20:41, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this website site uses MediaWiki, you may be interested in using MediaWiki page ID (P9675). Pamputt (talk) 08:11, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Pamputt: It is exactly what I meant with "page ID" ;-) --Epìdosis 10:57, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
 Support--DrGavinR (talk) 07:31, 15 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
 Support I'd be happy with this. Are you able to put together a list of pagenames to IDs and do the changeover? If not I can try and do it in a week or so. Andrew Gray (talk) 16:19, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Andrew Gray: No haste, if you can do it in a week or so we can surely wait. Inform us here when you have news :) --Epìdosis 21:15, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Andrew Gray: News? --Epìdosis 18:59, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Epìdosis: Apologies - have been completely swamped with other things over the past couple of months. I'm not sure I'll be able to find any time for this, sorry. Andrew Gray (talk) 20:25, 27 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
