    Mula sa kanyang tanggapan sa kumbentong ito noong Enero 21, 1899 si Heneral Emilio Aguinaldo y Famy[,] Pangulo ng Republika ng Pilipinas[,] ay nagpahayag ng pagkakabisa ng Saligang Batas ng Malolos na ang malaking bahagi ay binalangkas ni Felipe G. Calderon at pinagtibay ng Kongreso ng Himagsikan na nagpulong sa Simbahan ng Barasoain noong Setyembre 15, 1898.
