"False friend" problem[edit]
The Spanish term falconete is a false friend of the English "falconet". The correct translation of falconete into English is "swivel gun". On top of that, in Spanish, a pedrero, even following the Spanish article's definition, is a breech-loading swivel gun when translated into proper English. Thus, there's only one way to resolve the problem:
