Type of sport vs. sport[edit]

Football is subclass of sport and instance of type of sport. Why: Every instance of football ist also an instance of sport. E.g. an actual football match is sport. But it's not a type of sport. Thus, football cannot be an subclass of type of sport.

Why is football an instance of sport? Look at the elements of "type of sport"? What is a type of sport? "Tennis" is a type of sport. "Ball game" is a type of sport. "Football" is a type of sport. "The game we played yesterday" is not a type of sport.

Look even further: "Type of sport" is a subclass of "class". This means: If football is subclass of "type of sport" then "football" is also subclass of "class". This means every instance of footbal is also an instance of class. The football match yesterday was sport but it was not a class. --Eulenspiegel1 (talk) 19:15, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
