I totally agree with Dravinia. This topic, Q12508, must be merged into Q13217298 because both of them talk about the same archaeological site. --Xosé Antonio (talk) 20:49, 7 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comment (Giza Pyramids (Q13217298)) is a subset of the other (Giza pyramid complex (Q12508)), as Giza pyramid complex "includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza." also include "Several cemeteries, workers' village and industrial complex". So of course not the same --Alaa :)..! 08:28, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

After expanding the article on Galician Wikipedia about Giza pyramid complex (Q12508), I realize there is a difference between this topic and Giza Pyramids (Q13217298). The first one refers to the whole Necropolis of Giza, including pyramids, workers' village, cemeteries, tumbs, shafts, etc, while the second item refers only to the pyramids, specially to the three main pyramids. As a result, I change my mind and I think a merge is not recommended.--Xosé Antonio (talk) 12:22, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong assignment[edit]

Taking a quick view to the articles of different wikis associated to this topic, Q12508, I think most of them might be associated to Q13217298 and vice versa. It is said in Q13217298:Giza Pyramids that this item is part of Q12508:Giza pyramid complex. I've just interchanged that articles in the Galician Wikipedia. --Xosé Antonio (talk) 12:55, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

There is the whole area of the necropolis, Giza Pyramids (Q13217298), there ist this here, that's just the pyramids within this complex, Giza pyramid complex (Q12508), and then there are the items about every single pyramid. It's all something different, involving less and less real-world items on it's way. Grüße vom Sänger ♫ (talk) 14:50, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
In my opinion, the item Giza pyramid complex (Q12508), as its name suggests, it's the whole area. Then Giza Pyramids (Q13217298), as its name also suggests, refers to the Pyramids (the three Great Pyramids and the Sphynx) and finally comes the indivual items for every Pyramid and the Sphynx.--Xosé Antonio (talk) 22:46, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'll use the German original text here for clarification: Nekropole von Gizeh is Giza Pyramids (Q13217298) and Pyramiden von Gizeh is Giza pyramid complex (Q12508). Seems to me, the two items are somehow mixed up, and in some versions it's not the way I see it. This should somehow be sorted, and English is in no way by default the right version, it's just one random version. Grüße vom Sänger ♫ (talk) 15:43, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
