Non-existent exonym in Spanish.[edit]
There are several editions literally translating the toponym in Spanish of this Catalan municipality as "San Baudilio del Llobregat". It can't be admitted as this exonym in Spanish doesn't exist and no one as Spanish-speaker call for this town as "San Baudilio", but as much as "San Boi" instead of the official name "Sant Boi". Any editing in this wrong way should be reverted. I know that policies from Wikipedia in Spanish forces the literal translation of non-Castilian toponyms, including in those cases where a Spanish exonym is non-existent, because of a controversial policy that Spaniard administrators doesn't allow discussing it there in any way. But I think that here we should follow the most common name used in Spanish, and "San Baudilio" isn't that one. --Martorell (talk) 10:26, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
