German equivalent[edit]
@contribution 2013-11-22: Food waste contains food losses like e.g. pest infestation. But this is not the content of the German "Lebensmittel-Verschwendung". According to the German standard dictionary Duden is the meaning of Verschwendung: "frivolously and consume overabundantly and without a corresponding benefit or apply." But this is not the only content of Food waste. The correct translation of Food waste and meaning is only the German "Lebensmittel-Abfall". -- con-struct 17:32, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
