Marcel Lubbermans[edit]

Apparently, the dutch translation calls him “Marcel Lubbermans” (hence this edit by User:Jura1, which quite confused me until I googled “Harry Potter Marcel”); how do we record that on the item? —DSGalaktos (talk) 14:31, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The character has different names in different languages. It is possible to add all names as properties and add qualifiers for the language to the properties. --Fomafix (talk) 15:48, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
1. Which qualifier, precisely? applies to part (P518) Dutch (Q7411)?
2. Since given name (P735) and family name (P734) are separate properties, how is it recorded that no translation calls him “Marcel Longbottom”, for example (i. e., mixing given and surnames that belong to different languages)?

How about adding given name (P735) : Marcel (Q4927589) with qualifier language of work or name (P407) : Dutch (Q7411).
This in addition to "Neville" --- Jura 16:58, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds good, yeah. —DSGalaktos (talk) 17:26, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I removed that as Neville (Q295556) has in P31: Wikimedia disambiguation page (Q4167410). Items used with P735 should have "given name". --- Jura 06:05, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
