iNaturalist[edit]

@Succu: If you search for Eukaryote on iNaturalist you get shown one item for which that taxon name is linked to, "Life". The link for the item redirects to "www.inaturalist.org/taxa", however if you copy the link it is http://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/48460-Life; clearly displying that there is an id, only that they do not keep a "record" for it. It is therefore a deprecated ID, but an external ID nonetheless. (tJosve05a (c) 22:02, 9 September 2016 (UTC) WikiProject Taxonomy has more than 50 participants and couldn't be pinged. An ID points to a clearly distinguished concept and not to redirs of all kinds. --Succu (talk) 22:07, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No, but since they have an id-number for it, it should be linked/mentioned. They may change their display of it in the future, but in the meantime, it should be kep, but makred as depricated. (tJosve05a (c) 22:10, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Even if they have a visual webpage for the ID or not, does not mean it is not an ID. (tJosve05a (c) 22:20, 9 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
