Historical meaning[edit]
I was wondering how we inscribe the fact that this is no longer the main meaning of "feuilleton" in French (it's been taken over by the notion of seriality brought forth by serialized fiction (Q1347298)). Should we include in the French definition the fact that this meaning was predominant before the 1840s? I'm asking because of confusion at a periodical studies conference because of current different meanings in French serial (Q30765749) and German (this one). Marianika (talk) 14:29, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
- Please don't mix: different meaning should go to another item. You can name (and describe) with any word in your language but all languages should mean the same. --Infovarius (talk) 22:31, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
