Merge punk band back into rock band (Q5741069)[edit]
There are currently only three instances of punk band. I believe the best approach for these & future punk bands would be to identify them as instances of rock band (Q5741069) with a genre (P136) of punk rock (Q3071) (and in fact those 3 instances of "punk band" also set their genre to "punk rock", so the subclass of punk band is redundant). See for example Pussy Riot (Q7551) which is one of many rock bands with genre "punk rock" that already follow this pattern. Dan scott (talk) 17:23, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
