Last name vs disambiguation[edit]

@ValterVB: Hi! You moved several interwiki links from this (Hansen the last name) entry to Hansen (Q230503) the disambiguation. I believe this is a mistake, the moved links actually exclusively talk about the last name, especially so svwiki and lbwiki. Do you disagree? Intgr (talk) 09:02, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Intgr: We can't mix disambiguation with normal page. Disambiguation page are all the page that include tag ___DISAMBIG___. If you check all the page that I have moved, you can see that they have a template with the tag. Probably is necessary change the template, because a list of people with the same surname can't be a disambiguation page. --ValterVB (talk) 12:31, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@ValterVB: "We can't mix disambiguation with normal page." — Why not, is this a written rule somewhere? If smaller Wikipedias misuse that tag, then we can ignore it for the sake of correctness, no? Intgr (talk) 14:21, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────We can't mix because are 2 different things: instance of (P31):Wikimedia disambiguation page (Q4167410) is different from instance of (P31):family name (Q101352). In Wikidata we don't mix concept. Example: Smith (Q217465) is different from Smith (Q1158446) that is different from list of people with the family name Smith (Q6633275).

I hope that now is more clear. --ValterVB (talk) 18:05, 15 March 2016 (UTC) .@Intgr: --ValterVB (talk) 18:06, 15 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@ValterVB: No, I understand that disambiguation pages and "family name" pages are different things. My point is, the links that you moved were not disambiguation pages — they were family name pages. Yet you moved them to the Wikidata entry for disambiguation. And you're doing this based on some technicality (the "___DISAMBIG___ tag") rather than common sense. Why can't we ignore the technicality and use common sense? Intgr (talk) 08:25, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Intgr: If I found a page in Special:DisambiguationPages, is a disambiguation, is a clear rule, maybe the only special rule for ns0 managed by the Mediawiki Software. We can't transfer error from Wikipedia in Wikidata. If a page a disambiguation for an error is necessary fix the problem on Wikipedia not transfer the error here. en.wiki managed correctly the problem infact they use a specific template that isn't a template for disambiguation. Just now on 980802 disambiguation item we have 11365 item the have at the same time instance of (P31) family name (Q101352) and instance of (P31) Wikimedia disambiguation page (Q4167410) and this is a problem. --ValterVB (talk) 20:32, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
