Deleting that the year of official opening was in 1910[edit]

I will be deleting that the station was opened in 1910. That is wrong, on the Polish Wikipedia site there is nothing about that (states it was opened in 1900 there, also wrong). At https://banenoreiendom.no/gulskogen-stasjon it clearly states that "Dagens stasjonsbygning er fra 1915", meaning that "Today's station building is from 1915". Therefore, the "1910" date will be deleted on the 06.12.2020, in 2 days time.  – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Alex1611 (talk • contribs).

But the actual year is 1868. (See the reference that I added.) On the next page it also says that the current building is the second one on the location. The first one was built for the opening in 1868, and was demolished at some point. Bergenga (talk) 22:04, 4 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Correct. Is there a way in which we can add that the official opening of the building that is in used today was in 1915? And it should be designated in some way that the official opening in 1868 is not the building that is in use today? I have also found a picture of the old station, here, should that be included in some way?

I don't see any point in having official opening of a building, since it is only one of several features of a station. In many cases today they are no longer used as part of the station, and some have never ever had any. But anyway, the most obvious and easy way was to just add applies to part (P518) station building (Q1339195) as a qualifier. Then it is understandable to all. But I did set the 1868 date as preferred rank, since that is the most important information. Many scripts will only return the first value they find (which in this case is 1915), but now they will pick the right one with preferred rank. Bergenga (talk) 19:23, 9 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jernbaneverket or Bane NOR Eidendom[edit]

I think it is Bane NOR (bn) eiendom who owns the station, although I am a little unsure. Seeing as the station is listed on BN eiendom's webpage, I think it is BN eiendom who owns the station. on BN eidendom's webpage. It is not Jernbaneverket (JBV) who owns the station, as that gov't agency is defunct and no longer exists. Anyone have any thoughts? Alex1611 (talk) 12:40, 5 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jernbaneverket has never owned this station, so that was completely wrong. When the old national railways (NSB) were split in 1996, the real estate and all existing stations (but not tracks) were put in the new train operator (NSB, now Vy), as they were considered to be commercial. From 01.01.2002 they were all moved to a new subsidiary named NSB Eiendom. This subsidiary was merged with ROM Eiendom on 01.01.2007, which is the company that today is known as Bane NOR Eiendom (after its ownership was moved to Bane NOR in 2017).
However, all stations that were built after 01.12.1996 became owned by Jernbaneverket. Those are only a very few, and I don't really have any list. Also, the stations on Gardermobanen have an even more complicated history, because they were owned by NSB Gardermobanen (today known as Flytoget AS) until 2001, when they were transferred to Jernbaneverket along with the line.
