Instance of a type of event[edit]
A marathon is a type of event and should be classified as such or a subclass of such. It appears it would technically fall under event→sport competition→tournament as per the definitions given, and the golf example in wikipedia:tournament. However marathons don't seem to be referred to a type of tournament in colloquially usage of the term but I figure Wikidata is focused on technical classification. I'll set it as such for now unless a better event classification is proposed. -- Devon Fyson (talk) 21:45, 17 June 2019 (UTC)
