merge with Q178712?[edit]

Seems to be a duplicate. Only two languages have an article in both topics: hy and nl. --Lasunncty (talk) 23:30, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Lasunncty:There is a repetition in some languages and this needs to be integrated locally first.Greetings ديفيد عادل وهبة خليل 2 (talk) 15:52, 14 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No, they are different.Just look at Reasonator and see how many subclasses it has, besides state or territory of Australia (Q178712). --Infovarius (talk) 13:05, 15 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
From what I can tell, many of the articles in this topic seem to match better with Q178712. They don't seem to fit with the listed subclasses of this topic. --Lasunncty (talk) 00:34, 16 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Really? Even local government area of Australia (Q1867183)? To me, Q178712 deals only with state of Australia (Q5852411) and territory of Australia (Q14192199). Other types of division should be subclasses of Q4494320. --Infovarius (talk) 14:01, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Only the nl article seems to mention LGAs, from what I can tell. All the other ones are strictly about states and/or territories. BTW, there is another topic for LGAs: local government in Australia (Q18481123). --Lasunncty (talk) 00:43, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I definitely would prefer that the two be merged. The information that most people are after is contained in both items and the utility of having them separate is very low. Zyzzek (talk) 08:26, 8 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I've read what I wrote and it seems strange argument :) What I mean is: don't you see the difference between territory of Australia (Q14192199) and administrative territorial entity of Australia (Q4494320)? Because state or territory of Australia (Q178712) includes territories while this item shouldn't. --Infovarius (talk) 14:22, 9 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm an Australian and there seems to be some misunderstanding here. There are three levels of government in Australia: federal, state/territory and local. The second (states and territories) and third (LGAs) levels should be the subclasses of this item. It should not be merged with state or territory of Australia (Q178712) because these are not the only administrative territorial entities in Australia. --Canley (talk) 02:13, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Medograd, BoSeStan, Subtropical-man: (are you the one?) I am fully agree with Canley and revert wrong moves. --Infovarius (talk) 16:30, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
