Looks like the English Wikipedia article, and some of the others are specifically about bars in rivers. But items classed as 'bar' in the GNIS are being tagged as instances of this class, even though many of them are located in the ocean or lakes. Innotata (talk) 01:37, 18 September 2018 (UTC)
