Subclass of academician[edit]
@Daniel Mietchen, D1gggg, Cdo256: @Andreasmperu, Infovarius, Metamorforme42, Swpb: (I ping you because I see you have edited in the past years the subclass of (P279) values of this item) I have un-deprecated faculty member (Q5428874)subclass of (P279)academic (Q3400985) since I'm unsure which are the cases in which it could not be valid; I'm not sure if I was right, but if the statement needs to be deprecated again, we have to find at least one other valid subclass of (P279) value for this item. --Epìdosis 15:33, 19 March 2024 (UTC)

- Looks like Metamorforme42 did the original deprecating: [1]. I'm not aware of any cases where the relation wouldn't be valid, so I'm fine un-deprecating it. - This value is simply wrong because academic (Q3400985) is about ("is subclass of") persons while faculty member (Q5428874) is about groups of persons. For me, cadre (Q4359236) is a valid class. academic professional (Q66666685) seems to be also about person. --Infovarius (talk) 09:27, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
