Remarks and question[edit]

@Scoid, Karl Gruber: this item is quite empty. I added a French label but with so few information it's hard to be sure this label is correct.

Plus the subclass of (P279) tree is a bit strange. I would remove show garden (Q66310308)subclass of (P279)museum (Q33506) to replace it with something more precise (either in P279 or in an other property, maybe has use (P366).). It would make the distinction with museum garden (Q66310313) easier (item that itself would need some reviewing and improvments). The other way round, the statements botanical garden (Q167346)subclass of (P279)garden (Q1107656) and botanical garden (Q167346)subclass of (P279)show garden (Q66310308) are redundant, except if there is hidden reason, I would rather only keep the second.

Hi VIGNERON, as you explain I see now, that a museum garden (Q66310313) is a subclass of (P279) from show garden (Q66310308) and I agree with you, that botanical garden (Q167346)subclass of (P279)show garden (Q66310308).--Scoid (talk) 21:31, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Garden open to the public or garden at a garden show[edit]

Internet searches suggest show garden is reserved for those temporary gardens at garden shows like Chelsea, but oddly here botanical garden (Q167346) is a subclass though they are long term gardens. What is the best way to indicate an established garden that is open to the public, and indicate that access is free or requires an admission fee? My interest is with country house (Q16884952) which when open to the public can be a house museum (Q2087181) but might just open its gardens. Vicarage (talk) 14:18, 27 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
