Danish word[edit]

The Danish translation of killing to drab is incorrect. Drab is homicide, the killing of a human by another human. I think the most accurate translation would be ihjelslå (verb), but I don't think there's a noun in Danish for an instance of such an action. --Cgt (talk) 14:46, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Note that it is a noun, not a verb. Drab will be a good translation, but as often with translations, better translations may be available depending on context. --Madglad (talk) 14:58, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Dette er en handling, ikke et navn! Kind regards,  Rodejong  💬 ✉️  15:03, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
This makes no sense in Danish, and BTW I think you should answer in English here, and don't bring your conflicts from other wiki projects here to Wikidata.
English noun doesn't translate to Danish navn. It's a noun formed by the english ending -ing. --Madglad (talk) 15:27, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
English has nothing to do with this. The items show that it's an activity, an act. What ever language you look at, you see it is a verb. Kind regards,  Rodejong  💬 ✉️  15:31, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So the Dutch translation het beëindigen van een levend wezen, you added, is also a verb? --Madglad (talk) 15:58, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Wij beëindigen, Ik beëindig, Hij beëindigde, etc. Kind regards,  Rodejong  💬 ✉️  16:03, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Rodejong, Dutch het is a definite article, you are demonstrating personal pronouns in your inflection examples. Definite articles are used in the inflection of nouns. --Madglad (talk) 16:27, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Who gives a flying fuck about your constant observationally challenged sophistry? This is absolute irrelevant. Sänger (talk) 16:23, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Why are you afraid to say here what in your opinion is a absolute relevant? --Fractaler (talk) 17:57, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
