This is the Wikidata account of Sabine von Mering (https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2982-7792). I am a biologist and data scientist based in Berlin. Part of my edits are related to the collections of the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, where I am employed, but not necessarily made on behalf of this institution.

I am using Wikidata for linking information about biodiversity and collections of natural history museums and other GLAM institutions. This includes connecting entities such as researcher and other agents linked to collections, museum collections, institutions, publications, expeditions and objects or specimens. I am interested in further exploring the potential of Wikidata and learning about new tools and best practice. My other interests include highlighting women scientists and other hidden figures or underrepresented groups.
