Overzetten[edit]

Beste Wikischim, je zet ze nu verkeerd over. Je kunt beter voor de oplossing kiezen om ze allemaal goed te zetten. Ik heb die stap trouwens al gezet door hier een verzoek in de kroeg te doen. Ymnes (talk) 17:58, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

I see you created an item about the Gatwick drone incident. There is another item on the same matter, called 'Gatwick drone incident '. I was wondering if you knew how to merge them. Qwerty number1 (talk) 01:21, 2 January 2019 (UTC).[reply]

Hi Qwerty number, I don't know how to do this myself on Wikidata but I believe they have already been merged now. The problem here is that Wikipedia and Wikinews both treat this kind of subjects but are not coordinated well. As a result, you often have several Wikidata items about the same news item. The policy could be improved further on this point. De Wikischim (talk) 20:23, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Translation request[edit]

Hello.

Can you translate and upload the article en:Football in Azerbaijan in Dutch Wikipedia?

It does not need to be long.

Yours sincerely, Matricatria (talk) 07:51, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2019 Iraqi protests[edit]

Hi, I see you created an item about the "2019 Iraqi protests" .but There is another item on the same matter, called "October 2019 Iraqi protests" . I want to merge them. and I think it is no differentiate between "October 2019 Iraqi protests" and "2019 Iraqi protests". it is the same protests in Iraq also nicknamed "the Tishreen Revolution", The October 2019 Iraqi protests an ongoing series of protests that consisted of demonstrations, marches, sit-ins and civil disobedience. They started on 1 October 2019, a date which was set by civil activists on social media, thank you.Usamasaad (talk) 06:44, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Usamaasaad, no, d:Q73035519 and d:Q72367808 must remain separated. The first item contains only Wikinews articles. The other one is about the protests as such and therefore has a corresponding category on Wikinews-nl, instead of an individual article. --De Wikischim (talk) 11:52, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I've just tried to make the difference more clear, [1]. A corresponding article on the English Wikinews is still missing. De Wikischim (talk) 11:55, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
But the 2019 Iraqi protests on October have one artical! I mean are still the same in October 2019.Usamasaad (talk) 17:23, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
d:Q73035519 needs nevertheless to exist as a separate item, as the linked Wikinews articles focus on one landmark (i.e. the second wave of violence which started last Friday) in the course of all the events. Because Wikinews, unlike Wikipedia, always works that way, a category with separate articles about a particular news event on Wikinews corresponds most of the time to an article about the same event on Wikipedia. Is it clear enough now? De Wikischim (talk) 18:35, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, Thank you.Usamasaad (talk) 20:51, 1 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
OK good. De Wikischim (talk) 12:29, 6 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
