Akodon mansoensis (Q11840920)[edit]

I think they are the same species: en.wiki (following the IUCN source) gives Akodon olivaceus and Akodon mansoensis as synonims of Abrothrix olivaceus.--Dr Zimbu (talk) 08:44, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find Abrothrix olivaceus nor the genus Abrothrix in the ITIS. En.wiki talks (in en:Akodon, citing the book Mammal Species of the World of 2005) about confusion between the genera Abrothrix and Akodon, while the ITIS report for Akodon has been reviewed in 2004. I think Abrothrix olivaceus are Akodon olivaceus are effectively the same species, assigned to different genera according to different interpretation of the taxonomy. I am not sure about Akodon mansoensis, however--Dr Zimbu (talk) 10:30, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I was talking about Akodon mansoensis (TSN=633049) and Akodon olivaceus (TSN=633056) ITIS accepts both species, thats why both items should be retained. Move sitelinks instead if you think thats OK. And yes: Mammal Species of the World treats Akodon mansoensis as an synonym of Abrothrix olivaceus (MSW-ID=13000534). Q1335082 and Q3071104: which one to keep?[edit]

Hello. I merged these 2 items into the 1st one (lower ID), and asked for deletion on the 2nd item (in fact, it's The Game tool, not me, that chose the one to keep). But you reverted, you merged into the 2nd one and deleted the 1st one. Can you please make clear the reasons? None of these 2 pages is linked. Wikidata:Database reports/Wikipedia versions[edit]

Hello Dr Zimbu! I have seen you contributing to a lot at pages linked to https://www.wikidata.org/?curid=24028442# (as for today titled Wikipedia versions but intended in general for WMF projects). I would be happy if you can review the properties of these pages, create the missing Wikibook and Wikiversity project pages, comment on user:I18n/sandbox (where you may find many usefull queries) and comment there with new / additional ideas. Merge Q1752037[edit]

Hi,

Are you sure about the merge between Praia da Rocha (Q1752037) and Praia da Rocha (Q56651030)? Usually locality and beach are kept apart (plus, this merge results in a self-referencing statement: Praia da Rocha (Q1752037)location (P276)Praia da Rocha (Q1752037) which is obviously wrong).
