Welcome to Wikidata, Ehitaja!

Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Need some help getting started? Here are some pages you can familiarize yourself with:

  • Introduction – An introduction to the project.
  • Wikidata tours – Interactive tutorials to show you how Wikidata works.
  • Community portal – The portal for community members.
  • User options – including the 'Babel' extension, to set your language preferences.
  • Contents – The main help page for editing and using the site.
  • Project chat – Discussions about the project.
  • Tools – A collection of user-developed tools to allow for easier completion of some tasks.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on Project chat. If you want to try out editing, you can use the sandbox to try. Once again, welcome, and I hope you quickly feel comfortable here, and become an active editor for Wikidata.

Bonvenon al Wikidata! – Welcome to Wikidata![edit]

Welcome Ehitaja! You may add some help tools to user:Ehitaja/common.js . Please see User:Rotsaert8000 (in Esperanto), Wikidata:Tools, and Wikidata:Tools/User scripts. On the user:i18n-page you will see all WD gadget links. It takes time to see what fits most of your interests. Good luck gangLeri לערי ריינהארט (talk) 22:12, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikidata "Disambiguation pages" game[edit]

Hi, can you please stop playing the "Disambiguation pages" Wikidata game for now? There seems to be a major bug in it, see https://bitbucket.org/magnusmanske/wikidata-game/issue/47/disambiguation-pages-are-not-anthroponymy --Bthfan (talk) 07:26, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

RFD[edit]

RFD is severely backlogged, and you're making RFD more backlogged. Can you stop using WiDar for an hour or so, until our current ~700 RfD backlog is removed? And also, please check RFD page if it is backlogged (and slow down when it's backlogged.) Thanks. by ReviComplaint? at 08:39, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Make sure your edits are all right, because you're editing on high ratio now. Sjoerd de Bruin (talk) 09:48, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I'll try to keep in mind to refrain from editing Wikipedia. Won't promise anything definite, though, as I'm awfully absent-minded. --Ehitaja (talk) 15:36, 16 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
