- Yes that’s for short descriptions on Wikipedia using their {{shortdescription}}. This is Wikidata, and we do thing differently. Please do not use capital letters at the start except for proper nouns. Also, do not end the description with punctuation. --IWI (talk) 22:02, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
- @ImprovedWikiImprovment:: Where do you see me using capital letters in Wikidata descriptions? In Special:Contributions/Error I only see en:Wikipedia descriptions. Am I contributing to Wikidata inadvertently in another way? I will try to remember the point about final periods in both sites. --Error (talk) 22:10, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
- You are on Wikidata right now. Those are your contributions to the English language description on Wikidata, NOT the English Wikipedia. If you want to add short descriptions on the English Wikipedia, please add en:Template:Shortdescription to the page. All of those contributions are to Wikidata, not Wikipedia. --IWI (talk) 22:20, 12 September 2020 (UTC)
