Welcome to Wikidata, Greg Toumpel!

Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Need some help getting started? Here are some pages you can familiarize yourself with:

  • Introduction – An introduction to the project.
  • Wikidata tours – Interactive tutorials to show you how Wikidata works.
  • Community portal – The portal for community members.
  • User options – including the 'Babel' extension, to set your language preferences.
  • Contents – The main help page for editing and using the site.
  • Project chat – Discussions about the project.
  • Tools – A collection of user-developed tools to allow for easier completion of some tasks.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask on Project chat. If you want to try out editing, you can use the sandbox to try. Once again, welcome, and I hope you quickly feel comfortable here, and become an active editor for Wikidata.

Best regards! Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 22:34, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You can't switch from channel to user without discussion. When the property was created it was agreed upon to user the channel id. If you want to switch you need to start a discussion on the talk page and find consensus on the change. If you don't do that you can't just change it and with changing making all existing values incorrect at the same time. All accepted uses of the property have the channel id as a value. If they have another value, it will automatically be fixed within a few hours by a bot (that runs twice a day). Mbch331 (talk) 10:55, 19 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I saw you added the link to user again. I reverted your edits. Stop adding it. Mbch331 (talk) 19:44, 9 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What the fuck aer you constantly changing in this item in :el:? You are just spamming my watchlist in deWP with all your stupid, senseless, changes for hundreds of items, that you create with your obvious bullshit. Sänger (talk) 16:11, 31 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Any answer? --Succu (talk) 20:31, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any pattern in your editing behaviour?[edit]

Can you somehow explain your very erratic editing behaviour, for example in this edit history? I fail to see any pattern, any logic, it's just completely random back and forth. Same thing I asked in the last paragraph here above, but you still have not answered. Sänger (talk) 15:50, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Do you even nkow what you ar doing?[edit]

What the heck was this about? If you don't know nothing about Wikidata, just leave it and don't mes around with lot's of items you have obviously not the faintest clue about. Just leave the project alone instead of this constant vandalism. Sänger (talk) 13:53, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

i know about wikidata[edit]

i know about wikidata items and my edits is perfect.--Greg Toumpel (talk) 14:16, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That's why you constantly revert your edits dozens of times, yes, you definitely know how to create lots of edits for your counter, but most are just junk and plain bullshit. Sänger (talk) 17:30, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I just saw this typical nonsense: 10 edits for a single word. You know nothing about WD. Sänger (talk) 18:10, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And deletion, reinsertion, deletion and so forth again. 20 edits for nearly nothing, most just insertion, delezion, uinsertion, deletion ad nauseam. How old are you? Five or six? Sänger (talk) 11:14, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Mind to respond at Wikidata:Administrators' noticeboard#User:Greg Toumpel. Thanks. --Succu (talk) 20:34, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

Three different users have showed concern about your editing pattern. You don't seem to have a clear understanding of how instance of (P31) and subclass of (P279) work, so please stop adding statements with those properties until you acquired some knowledge (reading Help:Basic membership properties could be a good start). Also, you need to think carefully before editing; otherwise, you would end up doing several unnecessary edits to correct yourself. In case you are not sure about something, ask somebody. Special attention needs to be taken with highly used items and with all properties. If you also ignore this warning, you will be blocked. Andreasm háblame / just talk to me 02:50, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for a period of 3 days for warning ignored, continuous addition of non-sense. Once this block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest it by editing this page and adding the following template with a suitable reason: {{unblock|1=<the reason for your unblock request>}}. If you are logged in, and the option has not been disabled, you may also email the blocking administrator (or any administrator from this list) by using this form. See Wikidata:Guide to appealing blocks for more information.

@Nikosguard: Could you please explain this user what is wrong with his edits? (see all comments above). He doesn't seem to understand English, and it appears that his mother tongue is Greek. Andreasm háblame / just talk to me 06:08, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
