Been working quite a bit on this since December. My initial plan was to integrate with as many external databases as possible, in order to identify dupes and missing games − my ongoing todo list lives at User:Jean-Frédéric/Videogame external databases.

While doing that work, I realised how flawed our data model is. I have taken notes about that at User:Jean-Frédéric/Videogames data model − would be interested to hear your thoughts on it :)

Yeah, same lots of really good data in dedicated gaming sites. We need bots to sync them but I haven't had much of a chance to look into it.
