Prisma ID

Hi Ontogon, hab gerade gesehen, dass du viele Prisma ID (P4515) Statements entfernst. Ist schade, dass das alte URL-Schema anscheinend nicht mehr funktioniert. Vielleicht wäre es aber in so einem Fall nicht schlecht, das Team von prisma.de anzuschreiben und nachzuhaken - die wissen evtl. nicht einmal dass es Projekte wie Wikidata gibt, die diese IDs nutzen.

Allerdings wird auf Wikidata in Fällen wo externe IDs nicht mehr funktionieren bzw. auf komplett andere URL-Schemas umstellen, die Eigenschaft nicht entfernt oder auf das neue URL-Schema geändert. Stattdessen wird die alte Eigenschaft und die ganzen ID-Statements beibehalten und die Eigenschaft lediglicals veraltet markiert. Wenn gewünscht/notwendig, kann dann eine neue Eigenschaft mit den neuen IDs erstellt werden. Gruß, --Kam Solusar (talk) 16:19, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

@Kam Solusar: Vielen Dank für Deine Erläuterungen. Die Prisma ID (P4515) funktioniert, bei unveränderten Kennungen, weiter einwandfrei, wenn zu einer Person bei prisma.de auch eine Biografie angelegt worden ist. Beispiel: Nora Tschirner. Für Personen ohne Biografie, also nur mit einer Filmliste oder einem TV-Hinweis, funktioniert die Prisma-ID nicht. Beispiel: Rihanna; ihr Eintrag bei prisma.de sieht so aus. Den gegenwärtigen Zustand, also die Voraussetzung einer Biografie, finde ich gut. Reine Filmlisten von Schauspielern gibt es bei vielen anderen Properties. Ich sehe also keinen Handlungsbedarf. — Meine Statement-Entfernungen hatten lediglich den Grund, die von mir eingerichteten 19 Ausnahmen bei der Eigenschaftseinschränkung „Format“ wieder zu entfernen, da sie inzwischen überflüssig waren. Im Verbund damit habe ich bei den betroffenen 19 Datenobjekten die Prisma-ID-Einträge, überwiegend von mir selbst angelegt, wieder entfernt. Gruß --Ontogon (talk) 17:26, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Hallo @Kam Solusar: Ich habe die ursprüngliche Prisma ID (P4515) dort wieder eingefügt, wo sie von Dir angelegt worden war: bei Melissa Benoist, Cyndi Lauper und Addison Timlin. Noch führt sie jeweils zu einer 404-Fehlerseite bei prisma.de. Aber deren Team (Retz, Birk-Königs und Klemt) habe ich eine E-Mail geschrieben und Melissa Benoist, Cyndi Lauper und Addison Timlin als Beispiele für nicht mehr funktionierende Wikidata-Links genant. Ob meine freundlich verfasste E-Mail, die mit weiteren Bespiellinks bestückt ist, eine für uns hilfreiche, technische Lösung durch das Team von prisma.de zur Folge hat, bleibt abzuwarten. Danke für die Erklärung, ich hatte da zuerst ein klein bisschen Panik, dass du vielleicht alle IDs entfernen bzw. ersetzen wolltest. Kommt leider hin und wieder mal vor, wenn externe IDs nicht mehr funktionieren oder sich stark ändern. Dass die IDs nur bei Einträgen mit Biografien klappen war mir gar nicht aufgefallen. Frage mich, was da wohl dahintersteckt. Ich hatte mir vor längerem auch schon mal überlegt gehabt, Prisma-Einträge mit Biografien irgendwo gesondert zu kennzeichnen, z. B. via has characteristic (P1552). Das wäre aber wahrscheinlich entweder viel manuelle Arbeit oder schwierig zu automatisieren.

Und ich finde es klasse, dass du da mal nachgehört hast. Mal schauen, ob es eine Antwort gibt. Fände es aber nicht schlecht, auch die IDs ohne Biogr. weiterhin nutzen zu können. Deren Inhalte mögen zwar nicht unbedingt einen unmittelbaren Nutzen haben, aber es geht bei den in Wikidata gepspeicherten IDs ja nicht nur um die dort vorhandenen Inhalte, sondern IMO vor allem auch um die Aussage, dass der Gegenstand eines externen Eintrags identisch ist mit dem Gegenstand unseres Items. Damit kann man dann anhand der ID ggf. einfach den zur Person gehörigen IMDb-Eintrag oder Wikipedia-Artikel finden. Gruß, --Kam Solusar (talk) 06:08, 14 March 2021 (UTC)

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment

Dear Ontogon,

I hope you are doing well,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I am working on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender model that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our model based on your previous edits.

Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published in a research venue.

The experiment should take no more than 15 minutes, and it will be held next week.

Hi! Thanks for adding these in; it was a great surprise to find out that someone else has been adding them in too :) A small favour to ask: could you please add two qualifiers it when you add them? You can see the two qualifiers I add to them on the item for Carey Mulligan (Q219655) (P9937 as it is on Postimees' page and P9937 been adding in P407, which is most of the time Estonian.).
