It does not look like kartotherian has an opinion about the recent addition of https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q25975588 (see https://github.com/kartotherian/kartotherian/issues/24). What do you think ? Dachary (talk) 22:59, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

- It is my understanding that an item can be added as long as it helps describe an existing item which meets the criteria (i.e. structural need). Maybe kartotherian meets that criterion ? Dachary (talk) 20:27, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

Items like Q64692163, use the above property. However, if you re-read the property descriptions and property proposal discussion, you will notice that the property isn't designed for this. It should be used when one Wikipedia edition has articles about the same topic in different languages or scripts.
The relation between Q64692163 and the item it links to isn't entirely clear to me, so I'm not sure what alternative to suggest:
- maybe said to be the same as (P460) is suitable
- maybe part of (P361)
- maybe they can simply be merged.

Aufnahmsgebäude[edit]
Hallo, erstmals vielen Dank für das Anlegen der Items über Bahnhöfe bzw. Haltestellen, da hat tatsächlich noch viel gefehlt. Darf ich Dich allerdings bitten, nicht die Bahnhöfe mit ihren Aufnahmsgebäuden zusammenzuwerfen? Ich weiß, es ist verführerisch, da es Items gibt, die nur die Aufnahmsgebäude, nicht aber die zugehörigen Bahnhöfe betreffen, von denen es wiederum keine gibt. Es ist trotzdem falsch, da das nicht dasselbe ist. Auch wenn es immer wieder grob so gefasst wird: Aufnahmsgebäude sind nur ein Teil eines Bahnhofs (es gibt noch Weichen, Bahnsteige, evtl. Gütermagazine, Stellwerke etc.). Dazu kommt noch, dass Aufnahmsgebäude öfter denkmalgeschützt sind - der Denkmalschutz betrifft in den seltensten Fällen die Bahnhöfe insgesamt. Alleine schon dafür braucht es eigene Items für Aufnahmsgebäude, da die Eigenschaft Denkmalschutz eben nicht auf die Bahnhofs-Items zutrifft. Du hast zwei Items zusammengeführt, die getrennt gehören, das hat auch prompt eine Fehlermeldung ausgelöst. Darf ich dich also bitten, nicht mehr solche Zusammenführungen vorzunehmen und für den Fall dass es ein Item über ein Aufnahmsgebäude aber keines für den zugehörigen Bahnhof gibt, das Item einfach zusätzlich anzulegen? Dafür gibt es die Aussagen has part(s) (P527) bzw. part of (P361). Vielen Dank! -- Clemens 23:02, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
