Do we really need this noticeboard anymore?

1. Renaming of usernames are nowadays Stewards and/or Global Renamers' work (-> m:SRUC)
2. Requests for bot status are always handled at Wikidata:Requests for permissions/Bot
3. For granting new administrators after elections, how can't this be done by just pings, pings, pings...?

I see no need for removing this venue. Relying only on pings is certainly a bad idea, since not everyone has enabled them necessarily, and AN is crowded enough so that it is probably an even less efficient way to get attention than a ping/direct talk page message. On top, WD:RENAME redirects here and this is the venue where users find a convenient link to request a user rename (see the info box at the top of this page). Recently, we even used this noticeboard during the transition period of the interface administrator flag introduction, not impossible that other such uses may arise in the future. What is the motivation behind this request, has the very existence of this page caused any trouble? --Vogone (talk) 17:01, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

@Vogone: you’ve good point and this page not trouble, but we talking about merge into AN not a redirect. Remane redirects will be appear also AN top. Bonjour, J'organise une formation à Wikidata ce vendredi et j'attends environ 30 personnes, qui sont avisées de se créer un compte avant l'activité, mais ce n'est pas tout le monde qui aura fait cela au préalable. I'm experiencing slowdowns when I'm dealing with vandalism or when I'm creating properties (repetition in the chain of identical steps). In these 2 areas, I have a long experience that does not require a passage in the RC. In the coming weeks, I will be building properties alongside other Wikimedia activities. Flooders flag

@Vogone, Ymblanter, Lymantria:I would like to request Flooders flag as I'm already use Quickstatements to add bnwiki links or information in Bangla. Also when I'm working anti-vandalism and/or creating properties the chain of those edits repetition in the RC which does not required to passage.
