The bot seems to lack approval for the edits it does to labels. If it's already problematic in English and French [1], I doubt it works out in other scripts. I don't really see the comments on User_talk:Escarbot being responded to (for weeks). @Vargenau, Escarbot: --- Jura 20:12, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Jura,
- I got the bot flag in 2015 for creating interwikis. Later I started to work on labels and descriptions.
- I add labels if they are missing.
- I modify labels only for categories and templates. I check for categories and templates by testing the presence of ":". This gives a very small percentage of errors, which I revert when I notice them. I might of course miss some.

The upload seems to be inconsistent with what was agreed on Wikidata:Requests_for_permissions/Bot/ISSNBot. The bot uses "place of publication" instead of "country of origin". Please block it until this is fixed @IssnBot, Tfrancart:. --- Jura 18:04, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

- @Jura1, Lymantria: Sorry about that, someone did something wrong and used a previous version of the bot.
