What we do[edit]
As part of the Linuxwochen Wien (https://www.linuxwochen.at/wien/) we will hold a workshop about Wikidata. You will learn basics of Wikidata, how to access the data via APIs and how to write your first SPARQL queries.

What should I bring/ prepare?[edit]

- your laptop (not older than 10 years) + power supply

- JavaScript capable browser (= basically the newest Firefox or Chrome)
If you don’t have one already, please
- create your Wikimedia user account before the workshop. You need it to make edits in Wikidata.
Good to know[edit]
Language: English
The workshop will be held in English. But our mentor Stefan speaks German and he will be able to explain things in German in the breaks and in one-on-one talks.
