Motivation[edit]

The Dictionary of Scottish Architects contains extensive information about buildings and who built them, in a very structured well organised form. We already have a Dictionary of Scottish Architects ID (P5308) for architects on the site; it would make sense to also link buildings to it.

It should be possible to populate much of it relatively easily at least for listed buildings, by cross-referencing on the Historic Environment Scotland ID (P709) value that is given at the end of entries, using geographic town and county for sanity checking.
