Motivation
This is the second of three property proposals for GEPRIS person ID, GEPRIS project ID, and GEPRIS organization ID.
GEPRIS (Q48879895) lists all research projects, institutions, and researchers funded by the German Science Foundation since around the year 2000. Linking them to Wikidata would improve of reliability of research information in Wikidata and allow for interesting queries, e.g. in Scholia. The majority of research organizations in Germany is included in GEPRIS (plus some organizations in other countries) so mapping coverage is expected to be high. -- JakobVoss (talk) 11:03, 16 February 2018 (UTC)
