Motivation[edit]
Hi everyone, I hope I've filled this out correctly, please let me know if something is missing to make this work comfortably for us all. My motivation is to contribute to the video game side of Wikipedia, by adding GamerProfiles Game IDs to the Wikidata items of games which are existing in the GamerProfiles Game Database to enrich them with more references in Wikipedia - especially to the newly created Wikidata items for games which were not existing on Wikipedia yet until I've added them, e.g. Q119846458, Q119846573, Q119846651, Q119846728, Q119846865, Q115943197, Q116031250, Q116031397, Q116059538, Q94653118, Q116060692, Q116060865, Q116062339, Q111398021, Q116159682, Q116161489. I've added several games in the past which were missing, and will do so in the future, but the option to add a GamerProfiles Game ID has been missing yet :) So I hope we can add this option to create more references for games together. - Hi Horcrux, that's a valid question, and hopefully this can help to alleviate any concerns. An overview about what GamerProfiles is can be found on https://gamerprofiles.com/, but in summary: GamerProfiles is a social media platform for gamers with many happy users, and is growing in terms of users and games. More than 50,000 games are available already now and more are added continuously. GamerProfiles is helping gamers to share stories and connect with each other across all games and platforms, enabling them to create long-term, meaningful gaming connections.
